We start from Bellagio, we take the ferry and we enjoy the beautiful crossing, where we can admire the beauty of Lake Como.

We arrive on the opposite bank, precisely in Cadenabbia. Here begins our tour, we leave Cadenabbia and reach Menaggio, beautiful village from the center of which begins the climb with slope 5-6%, 3/4 Km long that leads us to Croce along the cycle path that follows the old railway that in the past connected Italy with nearby Switzerland.

Downhill road to Porlezza where we skirt the small lake of Piano, a true natural pearl. We cycle on Lugano Lake keeping to our left the lake and we reach Lugano, a charming Swiss city surrounded by a fabulous landscape. We head towards Melide and Maroggia where the ascent of Val Mara begins, about 8.00km long with an average gradient 6.5%, with sections at 16-24%, a really challenging climb. Arrived at the summit you pass the border and return to Italy, a few kilometers of breath and we attack the climb that leads us to Balcone d’Italia 5,00km at 8-9%. At the top the landscape leaves us speechless, a unique panorama overlooking Lugano Lake. Long descent and return to Lake Como, direction Cadenabbia, ferry and return to Bellagio.
